Constraint Additions and Configurations

How do you ensure that the constraints you add to an assembly apply to all configurations?

---------------------------------------

Hello

When I add constraints to an assembly, I would like to be able to choose whether those constraints apply to the active configuration or to all configurations.

I know that it is possible to display a table with constraint and configuration and then check what interests us. It would be easier if it was done at the time of adding the constraint.

Thank you for your help

Hello

You have to go to the advanced options of each configuration (right-click property on the config) and uncheck the box "Remove new functions and constraints" (at the bottom).

Hello.

You have to go where the configs are. Right-click on the config=> property.

Then in advanced options, you uncheck (or check according to your needs) the box "remove new functions and constraints"

So by default your new constraints and/or function will be active for all configs.

On the other hand, remember to do it for each of your configs

Edit: By the time I typed the keyboard, PL was faster

To complete, I advise you to do this manipulation on your assembly model.

  1. Make File/New/Assembly
  2. Right-click on the "Default" configuration

  1. In Properties: Uncheck the "Delete" box..... "

  1. Make file/save as
  2. In Type, select Assembly Templates (*.asmdot)
