Thread Appearance

Bjr,

I'm having issues with threads appearing in views that don't match the selected display option.

In the front view, you will be able to see all the threads in the part when you shouldn't see them. Also, these entities are not selectable so I can't hide them.

On the A-A section, I didn't select because I will see the whole thing when I should only see the 2 of the central piece.

Remaining at your disposal for any additional information and thanking you for your help, greetings.

Seb

Hello;

And this even after a ctrl+q???

Depending on the method used in 3D, there are different things to do to correct the problem.

These methods are repeatable and known, Solidworks "works like this", we do a little with it...

Try:

Select View

in the tab on the left, at the bottom: "Thread representation quality"

switch to "high"

(But be careful, you should not set this setting to "high" by default, do it as needed)

"May the dark side be with you... "

That's right. despite the redess, the CTRL Q.

No positive results.

Pb software or Others, I don't really know where the problem can come from.

Sorry Olivier,

The high option was well selected.

so try to put it in "draft"

I'm not trying to understand Solid anymore but I tried to remove the visualization of the threads and then put them back in place and this for all the views, a CTRL Q of the whole and everything went back to normal, where the thread should have appeared, they are and nowhere else.

Long live the dark side.

Thank you all. Have a nice day.

Hello

At all hazards; Which version are you on??? If you have an SP lower than SP 4 and you are not under maintenance you can upgrade to SP 4 and if you are under maintenance install SP 5. There may be a fix in the updates if you don't have the latest version...
