To the DraftSight Specialists

Hello

I have a question about DraftSight:

I would like to know how to:

- Create multiple folios with automatic numbering in the title block.

- Create a title block that is common to all folios, and therefore that each change is reflected on all folios in the document.

- Whether it is possible to print all folios in the same format at once.

Thank you in advance and see you soon;)

Hello

I'll look at it, but it smells like macro all this...

Are there macros in DraftSight?

Thank you

You can indeed make macros...

Good evening

I don't believe macros or dev is available in the free version of Draftsight.

It seems to me that you need a Premium subscription.

Hi all

Indeed, the DraftSight APIs are only accessible with the paid Premium version! The language is LISP.

I've already tried the script (available in a free version), but it wasn't a success!

A track with a view of http://zyzmog.blogspot.fr/2011/11/draftsight-and-scripting.html:
If you want to learn how to write DS scripts, the best place to learn is learn from the materials available for ACAD.  Search the Web for "Autocad script" or "Autocad script tutorial".  Almost all of what is written for ACAD applies to DS.

Good luck!

Yes indeed, you need a premium subscription to create the macro (or program) in LISP...

But, I think it is possible to use this macro without a Premium subscription....

However, as I am not sure, I wanted to do the full test....

I'll give you the answer soon

Hello

another way is to control certain information with E-PDM

It works quite well.

Have a nice day

Verdit: To run a LISP on DRAFSIGHT, you also need the Premium version.

Conclusion and answer to the question

How to do it?

You have to buy the premium version, and create a macro (or program) in LISP.

As L.prieur says, you can also do scripting (in free version), but, the performance pbs are such that it is better to avoid.

What Else? (as Georges would say)

Well, it's coffee time :-)

Hello

Ok thank you for all this info.

So I don't think it's going to be possible!

See you soon;)

From + to my problem:

"It's in the model that you carry out the layout and construction operations. A drawing can contain only one Template tab."
