Hi all
I'm once again trying to sweep a stringer according to the points of a stairwell on SolidWorks.
The function does not want to work. I have selected a direction vector perpendicular to the profile, what more should I do?
I think my 3D sketch has too many seams. Are you of the same opinion?
Attached is the screenshot summarizing my problem.
Thanks in advance,
Schpampz

Hello
I don't think there are too many connections, only a connection between two junctions that are too close together to be made.
Post your file if possible that we look at it.
Here is my file for those who want to do tests. Thanks in advance!

attempts to do it in surface
your 3D sketch via surface sweep it usually goes better
keeping normal constant
After that, you'll just have to fill all this in
@+
see attached file for test under SW 2012
the sides are bogus but that's the principle not being able to open your attachment

Hello friends,
I provide you with a screenshot of a scan of the same type that worked, and the part in solidworks format. I'm going to try a surface scan for my case.
Thank you all for your help,

The 1st floor looks much less curved than the 2nd floor.
I think we have to look at every connection. There may be too much curvature at one of the steps :/
