Battery plugged in not charging Asus K50I

Hello
I've had an Asus K50I for about a year and it all started about 6 months ago:
-the computer showed me plugged in, not charging, I unplugged it, plugged it back in about three times in a row and it went back to charging
-then one fine day this operation no longer worked, the battery went down to zero and never charged again
with the same message plugged in not charging
-and now there is a new message "ON MAINS NOT LOADING
in the bios there is marked AC ADAPTER UNKNOW and there is a message in English that explains that the battery is not efficient enough
I tried to turn it off by removing the battery and the charger and I pressed the power supply for 30sec it didn't work, I updated the bios, I downloaded some software for the batteries, I don't think the problem comes from the motherboard since the computer turns on.
On the charger case the blue light is on constantly.
So here are my questions? : is the problem with the charger or the K50I battery or both? Are there people who have had the same problem as me, if so, what have you done? Because I would like to be sure that it is the battery or the charger before I start buying one of the two

Hello

Have you tried working on mains but without the battery? If it works properly like this, it's because it's coming from the battery. And I really think that's it... Was the PC bought new? If so, head to the store to see if there's still a warranty or if there's anything they can do commercially because it's not old...

If it came from the charger you wouldn't be able to turn it on at all....

Hello

I think the easiest way is to contact the Asus after-sales service:

https://eu-rma.asus.com/pick_eu/fr/

Or to ask a question on Twitter, brands are generally very reactive in this way (and even call out the Twitter account in English if necessary).

If you want to manage yourself, you will have to do some tests.

- With a multimeter, check the voltage output of your charger.

- Also check your battery with the multimeter (see if the charge holds or not.

You say that the bios is ok, but it's not because the machine starts that the motherboard is clean.

Have you charged your pc with a different charger than the original one?

Did the Battery fall out?

Do you have another battery to do the test?

One last thing, aren't the connection plugs dirty or isn't there a little corrosion?

Etc etc....

Hello

You have to check in Windows that the battery is detected and do a test using the command prompt:

Type powercfg –energy     in the window.

Here are 2 links to help with the manipulation:
