Screw Library -

Hello

Following the overhaul of our component library, I am looking for a fairly complete library of screws.

I can't use the toolbox between me and my colleagues (Licenses: 1 premium and 2 standard).

Does anyone have a library of screws to share?

Thank you

You will find here a library, certainly paid, but complete, optimized and above all COMPLIANT!!
Fastener library for SOLIDWORKS

Hello, I had used the axemble library (ex visiativ) at the time and it was very good. I can't tell you where it is on the new site, look at the downloads. You had configurable screws, controlled by an Excel file, and therefore scalable for sizes that are not there. You can also manage properties for your internal refs with this file.

Okay thank you

Okay I'll look, thank you

Otherwise there must be a way to repump the SW toolbox templates (here the install 2020 folder) and rebuild the config tables:

In any case, generally you always have to rework the bolts (addition of internal references to the company...)

@froussel
Be careful when pumping the toolbox.
I don't know if it's still relevant, I had the opportunity to install screws and save them under to get them out of the Toolbox system. The next time the model is opened, the toolbox has taken over these rights, reinserting the screws from the toolbox.
Is it me who has not been manipulated? Since then, I haven't gone any further to understand why.

I join @FRED78 for " watch out for the toolbox " but for another reason:
=> the vast majority of its components are not up to date.

Technically, I would recommend that you rebuild your screw bookcase yourself.
As much as the geometries are simple to reproduce as the properties, they are specific to your internal uses and this is overall what takes the most time to rebuild, and it is much easier to start from a blank sheet of paper than to spend hours deleting or reclassifying properties and materials from an existing library...
