Hello
I would be very surprised if it were possible simply. Because the interfaces between CAD software are very basic, not to say rustic.
THE BEST you can transpose the parts and assemblies. But all the internal conveniences of each software are not transmitted as a separate file.
How many specific materials do you have to convert? That is the question ;-)
Kind regards
The big problem that bothers me is that I arrived once !, but I tried so much in such a way that I don't know how I did it, I'm ya bout lolpffflol pfff
Kind regards
Or how can I convert a sldlfp file to a sldprt it takes, I noticed, I have one and I don't know how:p

Hello
Could you explain how you solved the problem? That way, if someone ever encounters the same problem, they will quickly find a solution.
Because the goal of lynkoa is to help users.
Good evening @ac cobra
You must have noticed except that I definitely don't understand anything to SW that @rougefeu2 write this ""transfer my solidworks materials library""
So stupidly I was thinking about the material of the parts , the materials such as a steel 1.01114 (S235J0) but in the self-answer @rougefeu2 finally refers to the Lib Feat Part files (*.sldlfp) in plain English, it is the creation of the welded construction profiles to be used when creating mechanically welded elements. as you know.
To answer your question, dear Ac cobra , if I had to solve this problem I would simply do an automatic file dissection with the solidworks "clip art" function and then I would export them in DWG/DXF which will be read without a hitch by SolidEdge.
So the problem finally appears to be very far from the terms "library of materials" which have a completely different meaning in SW.
As the title of a painting by the master of surrealism René Magritte said, "this is not a pipe" just like my message which is not a message ;-)
Kind regards
PS: you will appreciate the choice of the best answer which is unexpectedly ""uis ya bout lolpffflol pfff"" that I didn't find in SW's online help.
