Is it possible to recover them on the old machine?

If you're no longer under maintenance, it doesn't prevent you from buying your versions at the time. So when contacting your reseller, he will have to provide you with the SPs valid at the end of your maintenance contract (basically, if it stopped during SP4, he must provide them to you up to SP4 and not SP5).
All you have to do is call him back and provide him with the necessary information (contract number, customer number, etc.).
