Hello, how can you open a .dwg file with draftsight by default? Impossible to select draftsight, even after uninstalling autocad.

Hello

- Position yourself on a dwg file in the Windows expolrator

- Right-click / Open with / Choose another app.

- Other options / More apps

- Check Always use this application to open dwg files

- Search for another app on this PC.

- In the explorer that opens, go find the executable draftsight.et validate it with the open button.

The solution has already been tested, it doesn't work...

How much is it on Windows?

Are you an admin on your PC?

Autocad was uninstalled but was there a cleanup of the registry afterwards?

Was Draftsight installed before or after uninstalling Autocad?

Hello 

You have to go to settings, applications, on the left click on default applications then at the bottom "choose default applications by file type" and find the desired extensions then click on the icon of the current software or "+".
