Would you like to make rectangular sheaths??? Make your guide sketch (path it should take) then at the beginning of the guide sketch create a sketch of the shape of your sheath then you do bossing/base scanned like the attached file. Well if I understood the question correctly and if you only have Solidworks!!

the other solution is to create your duct sections in a welded construction library and then via 3D or 2D sketches you create your ducts

It's up to you to make your profile rectangular rather than cylindrical
and to create your personal library to store outside SW
for the case where you change the version it's the same for all your libraries
