Cartridge border

Hello

I am in the process of creating my basemaps and drawing templates under SolidWork (2017).

Since SW2016 (I think), a new feature has appeared: BORDER.

My problem is that this border is gray and not black like my cartouche (the cartouche part is me who drew it).

when printing on paper, as in PDF export, my border comes out gray and not black.

To have a black outline identical to my cartridge, I am forced to print with the option: drawing color: Black and White: but that's not what I want.

Have you encountered this problem?

Hello

When you edit your basemap, have you ever tried to change the layer or color of your border??

Hello

+1 AC Cobra 427 You can set a color to a layer and apply it to your border.

Yes, I tested the layer.

The problem with tracing is that it no longer differentiates between stroke thicknesses.

Except on a border, you manage 2 different line thicknesses:

And just change the color of the features?? Normally you can change the color without going through the layers.

I just redid the test by putting the border in the FORMAT layer: it works and in addition it keeps the 2 different line thicknesses for the border.

For borders, you don't have direct access to the line color.

It is also possible to adjust the parameter:

System Option\General\Colors\Inactive Entities

You can then edit the color according to your choice.
