Middle mouse button and view rotation

Hello everyone and thank you for your help:)

By default in solidWorks, when holding down the middle mouse button, the model view is rotated.

If I press control at the same time, I make my view traslate.

Is there a way to reverse this setting, i.e.:

Holding the middle mouse button = translate

Mouse button + control key = translate

Hello

I don't think it's possible!

I know it's not cheap but if you want to save time on translating views, there are very practical tools such as 3D controllers such as the Spacepilot.

Hello and thank you for the answers.

Indeed, I was expecting the answer, I think there is indeed no solution...

I'm going to look via the spacepilot tool that I don't know.

Thank you very much:)

Hello

Yes indeed it is impossible for the moment without going through the third-party software of the manufacturers of mice and appropriate hardware.

By choosing a mid-range / high-end mouse with a lot of buttons and customization software (at logitech for example), there is a way to assign the middle button to another button. So it could allow you to get around some of the limitations of solidworks even if it doesn't allow you to achieve what you want (and the price is much more affordable than a space pilot)

Yes, this is the solution I am considering turning to at logitech, the mice seem to be good value for money.

Thank you all for your feedback.
