Bug export pdf

Hello

As a last resort, I turn to you :-(

So I have a big problem with SW2019 and acrobat

First of all, here is my hardware/software configuration:

-Core i9

-64GB of ram

- Win 10 64b

-Acrobat reader DC V20.3072

-SW 2019 SP3

Well, here are the facts:

I was still in SW2017 last week, and everything was working perfectly. I had to switch to the 2019 SP5 version, so I did an update. By this I mean that I didn't keep my 2017 version.

And now, the worries:

- It is now impossible to save as a pdf, absolutely nothing happens. The pc does not seem to think and no file is produced. And this, neither on the part/assembly, nor on the draw. On draws, the window asking for the pages you want to choose doesn't even appear.

- It is also not possible to print in pdf with the adobe pdf printer

Now here's what has been done:

During the update, I had on my computer an adobe acrobat pro v17, which allowed me to print in adobe pdf directly. When I started working with this new SW2019SP5 install, I immediately noticed that it didn't work anymore. My colleagues and I put this on the back of the adobe pro. So I uninstalled it and updated the reader version (V20) but no improvement. For once, I thought that maybe it was the SW update that had crashed. So I uninstalled SW completely, did a registry cleanup, cleaned up the superfluous reps in the explorer and then reinstalled SW 2019 in SP05 version. And there still nothing... the same concern. While searching on the net, I learn that there would be incompatibility between acrobat and SW2019 from SP4. So I decide to re-uninstall once again to migrate this time to SP3; always the same with the registry cleaning etc... And then always the same pb.

I admit that I have no more ideas.... and starts to despair :-(

My colleagues have exactly the same software/hardware configuration, and absolutely no pb during this migration, which they did at the same time as me.

Does anyone have an idea? Something I could control, or try?

Thank you in advance.

Yann

Hello

Have you tried   installing another PDF reader?

And to put it as the default application.

I had the same problem as you in SW 2017 .

Hello

Yes, of course, there is this solution, and indeed, it works (pdf créator). However, the "save as" is from my point of view more interesting than a simple print. There are the signed, and above all, it allows you to generate 3d pdfs...

Had you done some investigations to find out where the bp came from?

Thank you for your answer.

Hello

I had uninstalled Adobe with the tool use  Adobe Acrobat DC Cleaner

See Uninstall tool attachment.

And remove some recalcitrant registry keys (be careful, a wrong manipulation can damage your windows installation).

The product registry keys have had to change since 2017. they must be checked

See registry key attachment

Hello

OK. Thank you.

So you think that the problem comes from acrobat ?

I thought, maybe wrongly, that SW was independently generating its pdfs. Because it worked with 2017SP5 and no change in acrobatics, I couldn't make a mistake with the ...

Thank you

Hello again,

I'm in windows 10 1809 version, while my colleagues are in Win 10 1909.

Do you think this could be related?

Good evening everyone,

Race results:

After an update from windows 10 v1809 to v2004, no more problems. I can again generate pdfs both from drawings and from 3d (pdf3d). So there is an incompatibility between SW2019 and Win10 v1909, at least in terms of creating pdfs. It would be a problem of VBA.

For those who would encounter the same problem, start by making a winver to know your version of windows.

Thank you YP69 for your help...
