Hello
I have an assembly with 3 sub-assemblies.
I want to put bubbles on the 3 sub-assemblies showing their respective names. Do you have a solution?
Thank you.

Hello
Need for clarification... Will only the names of the subassemblies be present with the balloons and a possible nomenclature or not?
If so, 2 possibilities:
- Add a first-level BOM only,
- Modify the configuration properties of subassemblies to hide their component.
So when the bubbles are placed, they will attach to the subassembly level and not to the level
Then add the Balloons to a view, with the Balloon Text type File Name or Custom Property as the Balloon Type, and then select the one that corresponds to the name to appear.
If not, a bit more complicated but not impossible:
You will have to put the component and subassembly balloons on different views and insert 2 names, including a first level only.
On the bubble view with the names of the subassemblies, right-click on the view, property,
In the lower left part of the "View Property" tab, " Link balloon text to the specified table", there should be a drop-down menu with the 2 BOMs inserted. selected the first level type only.
If you want to put the bubbles in the 3D model of the assembly, again it's possible, in the same way or almost: you have to use the text type " custom property" and make sure that the target is the subassembly, because by default it's always the part.
Hello;
You can also use the detailed BOMs (tabbed list) and then group the parts and other items under Assemblies that you do not want to appear...
Kind regards.
