Hi all
On our drawings, the dimensions are normally grey (the colour is set by
system options; colour; , imported and non-imported dimensions).
Only since yesterday my dimensions are black because of a tracing paper (see pdf attached).
It's impossible to delete this layer because I think you need at least one I think.
So my question is: How do I adjust the options so that when I select
the dimensioning tool, the layer be set to none??
Thank you.

Which version of SolidWorks are you using?
Is it the same phenomenon on your colleagues' workstation or just on yours?
Solidworks 2013 sp5, the pb only intervenes on my workstation.
So try to reload your settings. You can do this from Start/All Programs/SolidWorks 2013/SolidWorks Tools/Wizards to copy the settings.
If you don't have a backup, you can make one on one of your colleagues' workstations.

Hello
By adding an empty layer you will certainly be able to remove the one that is in the way?

Hello
Changing the color options in this layer doesn't solve the problem?

Hello Lucas,
If of course it works, but we have thousands of MEPs
which have this layer set to the color black.
