Font layers

Hello everyone,

I have a question about fonts.

I create plans with several folios, each containing 6/7 different views (see more)

My problem using the same font everywhere, on each annotation / writing can we easily manage the fonts with the layers?

Hello

A layer defines the line style, color, and not the font of the annotation.

You have to set this in the options of the document.

Hello

See attached image:

1- Go to tools/options or click directly on the top bar icon

2- Go to the Document Properties tab

3- Scroll down the "View Labels" menu

4- And click on Font... Edit each view label (auxiliary, details,....)

It is also possible to change the font of the dimension, as the name suggests, in the dimension menu.

Then, save your MEP as a template so you don't have to do it again every time.

Hoping I've been clear enough :-)

Good night

Thank you!

If I understand correctly if I change these properties, they will be saved in the document permanently?

See you soon

All the options that are modified in the Document Property tab are valid for the document in question (unless of course you have manually changed the font of a note of course)

So yes it's recorded in the document.

After if you want to keep these settings for all the new documents you have to make a new drawing, make the desired settings and then make file, saved as, drawing template (.drwdot) in order to save the options in the drawing template.

Thank you!

So I can associate a plan format (A0 - A3 - A4...) with a template file?

Have a nice day

Hello

Yes, you will have one model per paper size (A4,...., A0)

I will think about it as soon as I have some time
