Hi all I encounter an error when I try to open some SOLIDWORKS parts or assemblies in SOLIDWORKS Visualize. The error message indicates that the SOLIDWORKS file does not contain any information from the display list.
Here are the actions I performed:
Compatibility Check: Both software programs (SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS Visualize) are at version 2025, the most recent.
File Verification: Files open smoothly in SOLIDWORKS, suggesting that they are not corrupted.
Re-Saving Files: I tried to do a " Pack and Go " to re-save the files, but it didn't solve the problem.
Reset SOLIDWORKS Visualize: Reset the SOLIDWORKS Visualize factory defaults, without any changes.
Do you have any leads or already heard of this problem!
I don't have the skills to answer you and especially to provide a solution to your problem, except of course to contact VISIATIV support, who will take over your PC and can do a serious diag.
Hello; Also check that your Solidworks components open correctly in Resolved mode (and especially not in " Lightened ".) And that all sub-assemblies and parts are in the latest format (2025).
Edit: From your screenshot you are under Solidworks Connected (is it equivalent to 3dXperience?) if this is the case many malfunctions are already known between Solidworks and Visualize. If you can try to work locally, if not I think you're good to open a Hotline ticket...
Hi Maclane, I'm in resolved mode. All my sub-assemblies and parts are in 2025 version. I will have at least tried to solve this through the forums, I'm good to open a ticket!
I wanted to inform you that the import problem on SolidWorks Visualize that I mentioned on Monday afternoon is now resolved. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly what happened to make it work again. For my part, I didn't turn off the computer, I simply closed Visualize and SolidWorks, which I had already done the day before (Monday) without success.
In any case, everything is back to normal! Thank you to everyone who took the time to read my message and reflect on it.
