Certification SolidWorks

Hi all

I would like to know if any of you have passed SolidWorks certifications?

If so, which one or which?

Do you have any resources to prepare for these tests?

Which ones do you want to skip?

The CSWP to start with because a priori it is a notch above the CSWA, and then that of welded construction or sheet metal.

I just saw that the list is more complete in English !

I thought that all the tests were translated into French but that's not the case !

Does anyone know if this is indicated if the test was taken in English or French ?

In any case, is it an interesting approach?

Keep us informed.

Thank you.

To complete your subject, have you ever been asked for this certification? If so, for what position? :)

Thanks Gt22

I've been telling myself for 2 years that I'm going to pass them, but I have to take a little time.

The work is quite intense, it's a bit complicated.

I know that if you are under maintenance, you are entitled to 2 certificates per year.

I'm thinking of doing CSWA CSWP mep, sheet metal, welded construction.

The technicians told me that with a good foundation and a little overhaul, it wasn't that complicated.

Good luck to all and take advantage of these certificates which are as I said, free under maintenance contract.

Thank you all.

@GT22 if you can find them, that would be cool!

@SEPM. Gerald: SW 2013/14 I wanted to know if it is indicated if you took the exams in French or English, because it can be a plus to take them in English! They publish your name on a site, right? What language is it in?

Hello

I passed the CSWA and CSWP and it's clear that the pro is more complex.

I also passed the CSWP surface and this one is strong...!

As an attachment I have made the languages available to pass the certification (for the 3 mentioned above as well as for the drawing).

The site where you can see who is certified is here:

https://solidworks.virtualtester.com/userportal.php#home_button

The site is in French. On the other hand I hadn't been careful but even if I passed the certif in French, the diploma is in English.

Thank you very much!

@Rom's:

So a priori it's not worth it for me to take the exam in English, because it's not mentioned on the diploma, nor the website, right?

@Rom's:

To echo Benoit.LF's question, have these certifications been requested or imposed on you?

You say she's strong, did you succeed anyway?

I don't think there is any interest because not specified on the diploma.

In fact I took them at the beginning of the year and I'm still working in the same company. On the other hand, I authorized my company to communicate on the fact that I have the CSWP as well as in surface and this has allowed me to acquire a big aeronautical market. I will be able to remember this the next time I talk to my boss ;). But you can also use the logo of the certificate on your cards, cv, ...

The surface is the one I found the hardest. The pass score is 190 (i.e. 3 errors). I got 190, ... It's gone short. On the others I made an average of 1 fault per event (the CSWP is the only one that takes place in 3 events).

The average number of people who attempt the surface is 168.5 (it takes 190 mini), it's the only one I've taken that is below the success limit.

I still have to get over the drawing but from what I've heard it's the easiest. But for the past of the must have the CSWP. And when you CSWP and 2 or 3 other modules, you can try the expert. But 100€ per ticket....

Misunderstood the 2nd question

Not imposed more for personal challenge. It allows a bit of publicity, so I'm negotiating the CSWE with my boss.
