I am pleased to announce the return of the national design competition, the Golden Tech 2024! Visiativ and Dassault Systèmes are once again sponsoring this year's competition, which aims to promote industrial careers. Every year, it brings together the best drafters on SOLIDWORKS
2 competitions are available to you during the Golden Tech competition:
The individual designer competition for 2 hours
The maker competition in teams, during the entire competition, i.e. 3 days to design and make your creation
And in the designer competition, you'll decide what to do! We organize a design challenge to determine which object the participants will have to work on: a sports helmet
From today until December 15, you will be able to design the helmet of one of the sports listed below:
Ice Hockey
Baseball (especially for batter and catcher)
Alpine skiing
Snowboarding
Skateboard
Longboard
Roller
Car racing (e.g., NASCAR, Formula 1)
Luge sports (e.g. bobsleigh, luge, skeleton)
Mountaineering / Climbing (especially outdoors)
Caving sports or caving
Horse riding
Polo
Field hockey (for the goalie)
Water Polo (helmet with ear protection)
Canoeing, especially whitewater canoeing
Rowing race (for the coxswain, in some cases)
Skydiving and base jumping
Paraglider
**Attention: Each participant will have to announce his choice on this forum conversation so that no headset is made 2 times** Also, you will not be able to select a sport that is not mentioned in the list above. Please let us know in the comments which sport you have chosen!
Through this challenge, it is a question of reproducing and not reinventing the helmet. The 3 helmets that best respect the characteristics of the object will win the competition
The 3 winners will each win a sports pack containing:
a sports bag
a cap
a water bottle
If they wish, the winners will be invited to participate in the Golden Tech designer competition: their travel and hotel expenses will be covered
Hello, I'm new to this forum and I'm tempted to participate. I'll take the LONGBOARD helmet! @Coralie oralie, are there things to know or transmit to participate?
