The forum has changed recently,
The one before deserved a lot of improvements,
And now with the new one, I think there's one more...
Let's post our remarks here, maybe they will be listened to.

- Categories for a question no longer appear when the "Questions" page lists all questions.
- When you read a question, the author's name is truncated, illegible (while he has room to display it in full, as on the "Question" page).
- You should add a link to go directly to the last answer of the question (basic function of all forums) rather than being forced to display the question, then go to the last page, then go to the very bottom of the page...
- In the "Questions" page, another sorting essay should be set (and set it as default if possible): Last Answer "and" Last Question Asked (function that also exists in other forums)
To allow the latest forum interventions (whether they are answers, or not).
Instead, we are forced to display the last questions first, then the last answers, it's very very annoying, and a waste of time for users.

1. I reported the categories, it's indeed a bug.
2. I don't see what it's about for the perpetrators? Isn't it truncated on my side?
3. Possible evolution, I'll point out for the link to the last answer
4. Do several members agree on this point? Prefer to show the latest answers by default rather than the last questions?

It could rather be called "last activity"

For the 3rd and 4th I agree 200%. On https://www.developpez.com/ the button even allows you to go to the first unread question. The best ;-)
You even have access to the several pages at the top of each page. This avoids the painful scrolling to the bottom of the page.
Sorting works less well than on the previous version. When I start my browser (Firefox 57) and the http://www.lynkoa.com/questions page. I find myself with the default sorting (Recent +) and the questions are several days old.
If I open one of my contributions and click on forum, the new questions appear then...

For point 1, so be it.
For point 2, it's not truncated at home and this on 4 PCs, see attached image.
For point 3, a direct link to the last answer would indeed be a plus.
For point 4, If everyone puts the latest answers by default then the last questions may not have an answer often because they don't appear because by default they don't have an answer yet, I find that it's a bit the opposite of how a forum based on mutual aid works. For my part, I prefer to subscribe to questions for which I think I can contribute and keep the current setting by default.

Hello everyone, I'm going to do my daredevil... before the weekend but I find that since the Lynkoa update, there is a lot (too much!?) red for my taste, and therefore I find it less clear than before. moreover I have a lot of trouble following my contributions...
Am I the only one to think that?? If so, ok the exit is this way! otherwise thank you for reporting yourself!! :)

And other things I just noticed, for each answer, I have 3 notifications per email.
We should put notice rules, to have only one email.
I receive:
"Forum nickname" you have a new answer...
"Lynkoa" a reply was posted on Lynkoa
"Lynkoa" an answer has been added on the question...

Another thing, when you are in the "Notification" page
We would need a link / button to return to the forum.

Yes, I checked the notif setting,
But maybe if you create a topic, you're automatically subscribed, but then you need a rule to send only one email.
But that doesn't explain why I get 3 of them!
With the old forum I didn't have this problem.

Oh yes, new point:
When we post an answer, we go back to page 1 of the question, we have to send us back to the page where the answer we just posted is located.

One more thing:
In the form to create a new question, you have to limit the number of characters (display the counter for the user?) and add a text that explains that he must ask his question in a short way because it's just a title.
And that he will be able to write his long question in the next text box!!
