Hello
Personally, I use a macro.
I open the drawing in question, I click on the macro button and the background plan is replaced by the desired one.
Hello
I see you have Axemble support, so probably myCADtools too.
You have to look at CopyOptions, here's what it says in the help:
"This tool also allows you to automatically replace your basemaps according to the format of the document. This can be useful for standardizing documents from various origins [...] "
Editing: see also this question:

Hello
You have 2 utilities from the myCADtools suite that allow you to do this action.
Thistool allows you to automatically replace your basemaps according to the format of the document. This utility also allows you to copy SolidWorks options from a reference document (part, assembly, or drawing) to one or more documents of the same type. This can be useful for standardizing documents from various sources to facilitate communication with subcontractors and partners.
You can, among other things, perform this action but many other very useful actions.
See the PDF for an overview of all utilities:

OOPS duplicate! I hadn't seen the answer of @.PL
For my part I use INTEGRATION, much more complete than COPYOPTIONS
At the same time, I take the opportunity to update the packaging standard, and add/remove unnecessary properties.
