Bulk Material Change in PDM

Hello

I want to change the material of the files in 1 folder under PDM en masse.

I tried to launch via INTEGRATION, a systematic action to change the material
In SW, all the parts open well, I can see that the material is well changed.

On the other hand, when the tasks are completed, (100% OK execution report)
And when I open the rooms again, the material hasn't changed.
I assume that the archiving has not been done.

Am I using Integration correctly? (red dot when selecting the task)
Am I using the right tool? (a more suitable tool in myPDMtools?)

I am logged in as an Admin
Version 2019 SP2

Hello

I don't know the Integration tool but this one being part of the MyCadTools suite means that it doesn't work fully with Epdm, archiving actions are not supported.

I think the processing is indicated as OK because it worked on the files of your local cache.

You should still be able to use this tool to change the material but I think that before you have to manually extract all your files and then archive them after processing.

Kind regards

Hello

In the part file actions you must use change materials.

It seems to me from memory that in the options you can extract the files, process them and archive them.

Here is the link to the help of the software

@d.Roger Integration works perfectly under PDM and can even be launched via a doc publication task.

Otherwise yes as @ yannick.petit says you have to think about parameterized extract and archived (by taking a version) integration for the modifications to work.

Another tool when you only need to touch the property is batch properties which under pdm does mass processing.
