Following a bad manipulation, I created a part with the wrong template (.dot) unfortunately I need my "good" template to archive my part....
So, my question: can we change the model of the part and if so, how?

No, that's not possible.

Once a part has been started with a model, you can't change it.
On the other hand, you can modify the settings of the options to make them identical to the desired model.

You can cheat. Open a room with the right template and insert the other part into it.

You should know what is special about the difference between the 2 models.
If it's just the custom prop (which is usually the case), just copy and paste.

Indeed, I can cheat and insert the part into another, on the other hand, I don't have the functions anymore (it's just a "body") so the evolutions will be complicated... unless I missed something? When you insert a part into a part, you can break the links with the original part, sketches and features will be in the part tree.
