We are live from a training course and the trainer does not know how to answer us on the following point:
We would like our reports generated by solid to follow a template specific to our company.
Is there an option or a menu or something else that allows you to further set up the generation of solid simulation reports?
Like table styles, colors, text and chapter positions etc?

Not tested, but see with the files in the folder C:\Program Files\SOLIDWORKS Corp\SOLIDWORKS\Simulation\data\cwreports
There are all the .dot files for Word exports, in my opinion you just have to keep the parameterized fields, I think their position in the document doesn't matter.
In any case, keep the initial files before changing anything so that you can go back.

Hello. However, I won't be able to guide you because I rarely do this type of report.
Nevertheless, it is certain that it is possible, we had a short training on this subject as part of another subject. It is necessary to go and adjust the options to add your own logo etc as well as modify the layouts, presentation of data etc... Search thoroughly.
But if the trainer, like any user, has not yet been trained on this subject, it's another story... Good luck and good training.

We can't set up the output elements as you want but we can by cut and paste create a second document.
At least that's what I do for my reports. Okay it's tedious but it's more presentable, more corporate as people say today.
This is not without difficulty because there are some horrifying things in Word in the management of areas and page breaks. Note that if you don't do several a day, it's still manageable

For having tried to modify the template that is stored in the place given by @Cyril.f , it's just a butchery: the text document is complicated as possible with section breaks and table nesting.
So I quickly gave up.
If someone can make a template with a much simpler layout (remove 90% of the nested tables to keep only a few where they are really useful) it would be of great service to the community.
That's what I do too, but I wanted to save time and avoid juggling the copy-paste mistakes that happen from time to time...
