Choosing configurations in a mechanism

Hello

When in a mechanism, there are several configurations of parts to satisfy the assembly constraints. Is there a way to ask CATIA to switch from one configuration to another?

Let me explain myself in a little more detail. In a mechanism, I have 2 possible configuration solutions. However, when I activate my constraints, CATIA offers me only one solution but not the one I want. How can I put my mechanism in the other solution?

Generally, a very common solution in this type of software is to put the mechanism close to the desired solution. Thus, once the constraints are activated, the mechanism is put into the nearest solution.

I need more "configuration" details?? (you're talking about the open door or closed door type)

I would need the type of constraints to understand.

In your last remark I have the impression that you are talking about prepositioning  before validating the constraint (I don't understand the term activate in this case)? 

For my part, if I have to show my mechanics in several positions, the simple + is to use the scenes.
