Choice of stainless steel materials

Hello

What is the stainless steel to choose from the Solidworks library, for an A2 stainless steel and an A4 stainless steel

Thank you

Hello

Stainless steel A2 is 304 and A4 is 316.

You can also choose based on numerical values. A2 is 1.4301 and A2 is 1.4401

Otherwise refer to the factory value and create your own materials. That way you have the right materials with the name you use, either A2 or A4 or Aisi 304, 316L etc...

There you have access to everything, in your room you right click on the material or on the material <unspecified> and you go to edit the material then Solidworks material and steel to find the stainless steel...

After finding your material, you just have to save your room model (.sldprt) with the name that works well, then when you want to recreate  one, you just have to choose this room model and you will immediately have the right material...

For stainless steels there are numerical values. It is not easy to know the correspondence with A2; A4 or others.

Can they be renamed? Thank you

Here is a table of correspondence.
