[CloneComponents] Renamed a component based on its lengths

Hello

I just discovered clonecomponents and I saw a lot of properties available for renaming components but I couldn't find anything to rename it in terms of the length of a tube that you insert.

I couldn't find anything in the help too.

I didn't find anything either and I'm afraid it' s not possible automatically!

Otherwise, a macro could do the trick, but you need to know VBA programming.

This help is helpful but didn't help me solve my problem...

I managed to put a length in the name of the component by putting the length property of my component in "value of a property" (see attachment) but the problem is that this length corresponds to the base length of the component and not to the one you enter...


I don't know the VBA so I can't lean towards this option

gt22 I only have one configuration and I don't think you can name a configuration according to a dimension.

The problem comes, I think, from the fact that CloneComponents names the part before I enter the length of my tube.
