I would like to know if it is possible, with a custom sheet metal with a template table assigned to the material, to have this checkmark automatically checked? (see P.J.)
This would avoid potential oversights and load the table directly, a slight time saver.

For me impossible (under SW2020)
The sheet metal options are not saved at closing or in a model part (unless I am mistaken) and in the document options nothing refers to them:

On the 2022 at least (not sure for the 2021), there are additional options including this one which allows you to check this box by default when creating a new sheet metal body.
On the 2020 the parameter is non-existent, hence my clarification on SW2020.

That's why in the requests users should specify their version of SW because there are functions that are added.
But personally it has already happened to me on Solidworks PDM to have the hotline that told me to check a box that did not exist on our version at the time.
Thank you for the answer @Cyril.f , I only have the 2020 version indeed hence my request (I'll specify next time).
But this info is useful because it will be set up when the software is upgraded!
