Examples to be a little clearer:
When I do a tapping, I would like it to be directly green in color
When I make a centering hole, I will want it to be directly red in color
ect i.e. assign a color to a function
Hello;
You can associate colors depending on the type of functions created with Below:
(Options/Document Property/Template View/....)
Warning: Some Colors/Functions associations may not correctly display Materials (Appearances), Hulls, Mechanowelded, Derivative Parts...
See option to check (or not):
( Ignore Feature Colors: "Available in part documents only. The colors of the room take precedence over the colors of the function" )
That said, Solidworks will not differentiate between a Tap and a smooth hole (the representation of threads is only a graphical appearance and not a function)
Note: Before any changes to these settings, I advise you to Save your current values (Option/Save-Restore Settings).
Kind regards.
