How do I enable the projected curve feature in an assembly?

I have access to this function in part mode, but not in the assembly, my 2D curves are ready one on the top plane and the other from the front.

same as in 2D, but before that it is better to create a projection plane.

Why do you project a line in an assembly

You can create a new part in an assembly to create your projected line

To create a part in an assembly:

  1. Click New Part   (Assembly toolbar) or Insert, Component,  New Part.

  2. For externally saved parts, type a name for the new part in the Save As dialog box and click Save.

  3. Select a plane or planar face (when the pointer has the shape ).

The new piece becomes the object of the edition and a sketch opens in it. An Overplace (coincidental) constraint is added between the Face plane of the new part and the selected face or plane. The new part is fully positioned with the On-site constraint . No additional stress is required to position it. If you want to reposition the component, you must first remove the In-Place constraint .

The new part appears in the FeatureManager authoring tree. Externally saved parts appear with a name as Part n. Virtual components appear with a name in the form [Part n ^ nom_assemblage ].
