How to view 3D models and drawings in the Windows Explorer preview pane

Tasks performed:

- Setting in "folder option"

- Activation of the Solidwoks option

- Software reinstallation (Solidworks 2014)

Always the same problem.

Thanks in advance...

Cyril

HELLO

Answer to what as a comment???

I have Edrawing 2014 and 2016.

Be careful maybe to have two, windows doesn't know which one to put and so it doesn't put any!?

Here I have machines with 5-6 versions of Sw installed (including edrawing so), there are 2 that have the problem, the others work fine.

Ah!? I had always been told to be wary because several versions of software could quickly become problematic. But apparently it can still work.

Thanks for the info;)

Reinstalled Solidworks 2014 and again no display in the preview pane.

FYI I haven't looked again at how to solve the problem.

Cyril.

Yes,  but how?

What's the solution?

Hello

have you ever tried by checking the box "show graphical samples in Windows Explorer" it's in Tools==>options and in general it's the 4th checkbox to check
