How to improve the resolution of an image (company logo) when exporting .pdf a drawing?

Hello

My company has just changed its visual identity and I have updated the basemaps with the new logo.

This one was provided to me in .jpeg, with a high resolution (300dpi) and in several sizes. Whatever the version, when exported .pdf the drawing, the logo is ugly, crenellated.

I searched and modified everything I could find that could directly or indirectly influence the resolution of this image in the saved pdf, without much improvement.

Any idea/tip anyone?

Thank you in advance.

Hello

Normally if you were your background and if you go insert==>image, it asks you for low resolution or high resolution. Try with high which worked very well for me.

@ AC Cobra 427,

No, via insert/image, no options to adjust the resolution (see attachment).

You may have clicked a previous time on Don't show again, you should go to tools==>options==>messages/errors/warnings and then check select the resolution

I have nothing about the resolution in the ignored messages and warnings...

Is it Solidworks 2020?

Yes, Solid 2020.

Weird weird, me too

Do you also have 2020 professional?

Hello

In my case, in export, I increased the resolution to 600.

@ac 427 cobra, not SW Standard

@TP. I tried to push the resolution to 600dpi, slight improvement, but improvement nonetheless.

Ah maybe that's one of the differences between the Standard and the professional.

Maybe send me the basemaps and logo in private msg via a wetransfer link and I'll take care of it.
