How to get a better rendering on SW23

Hi all

I'm on SW23. I don't want to have a photorealistic rendering, just a better rendering than the one I have now. I would like to see larger or more visible lines. How to do it?

Currently, I'm tinkering by recording my piece in JPG with a high resolution in order to zoom in on it and re-record later. Do you have another way of doing things?

Here is the rendering I have currently and which is not yet good enough for my taste.

Thank you in advance for your future advice.

Hello;
For a transparent component like this one I'll go through the Drawing (With a white background of course), seen in shaded mode then:
Either play with the options of the " line font" document and play with the custom thicknesses:

(still you will have to remember to have modified it for the other MEPs...)
Otherwise:
Convert the view to a sketch,

and play with the thickness of the lines:

Note: it is possible to use the change of line weights directly in the view (without having to convert it to a sketch)

(*) RMB = Right Mouse Button (Right click what...)
but it's much longer... partly line by line...

Thank you very much for this technique, I didn't think about it at all, it's another alternative that can also be quite good. :+1:

Hello

Another method: Cartoon mode.

  • Choose Edges in Shaded Image mode :

  • Choose Cartoon mode under RealView:

  • Open PhotoView 360 Options :

  • Scroll down and check the " Contour/ cartoon rendering" rollout:
    image

  • select the " Cartoon " type, then the " Render with cartoon edges and shading " type,

  • Change the thickness of the lines and their color as needed.

  • validate with the green tick (or take the screenshots without closing the PV360 options).
