Once an assembly is finished, I archive it and put the mention "VALIDATED BY THE DRAFTSMAN".
The assembly can be restored to "MODIFICATION" condition, which increases the revision a notch.
Could you tell me if there is a solution that would prevent all the draftsmen of a design office from going from the mention "VALIDATED BY THE DRAUGHTSMAN" to "MODIFICATION" on this assembly precisely, except for one person (RESPONSIBLE BE).
You can also add a "transition condition" in the transition settings Who says: File/text path not equal to /%"textyou want".sldasm
Users will be able to try to change their state but will be blocked by a message "the transition conditions are not met"
Then make a parallel transition only for the admin
In this way you lock the files in transition by the users just by putting at the end of their names on the pdm text you want.sldasm
It avoids recreating a group, or a special user right that could create conflicts.
Example, if your file is called knife.sldasm The transition condition will be set with %knife.sldasm which will block all files ending up with knife.sldasm.
Hello, if you want to limit access for a specific folder, you can change the rights in PDM's "Administration".
In PDM -> Groups-> Double click on the group(s) you want to restrict access to) -> Folder Access Permission-> find the folder you want to restrict access to and click on it -> Change the rights as you see fit. (See PC)
