Hello, I previously pasted a PDF file to an SLDDRW using the paste function as a reference. I would now like to delete this link which no longer has any reason to be. How to proceed?

In the Windows Explorer interface, you have to edit the link by clicking on the custom references icon when you are on the content tab.
The file must be extracted to edit the link and break it. Simply uncheck the linked file and archive for the change to be taken into account.

Stupid question: who uses this "paste as reference" feature in EPDM and especially why??

We use it to link a Word file to a SW file (we specify in a specific document the purchase components for example) so that the revision of the 3D is synchronous with the specification document that encapsulates it.
If there were no link, it would be up to the user's discretion to make the 3D model take a hint when the Word specification evolves.
