How to convert PDF to Word?

Hello

I just received a PDF document and need to change the layout of that PDF. But my Adobe Reader PDF reader forbids me to do so. I can only read the text of the PDF document. I know that one can convert PDF to Word using conversion software. Could you suggest a PDF converter that is easy to use and effective? I'm really a computer novice. Thank you very much.

Personally I have PDF creator, I open my pdf and I export file to..., I select Word and voila. But it's true that an ADOBE license is expensive. If you want and if you can, you put the pdf on me, I'll transform it and send it back to you!?

@G.M how do you do it with PDFCreator? I can't find the option!

??? I open my PDF and then in "File" I have the option "export to..." "  ok, ec is not PDFCreator, it's AdobeAcrobat

In Reader:

Select all,

copy

then in Word: paste

Otherwise there is the competitor to word "libre office" which opens the pdfs and allows you to modify them and in addition it is free.

@G.M Adobe Acrobat PRO, which is paid and not cheap!

I would like to hear @sbadenis ' answer: if LibreOffice does it, you should turn to this solution!

yes @.PL I specified in my first note that it is not cheap.... especially if you don't use it often... After that, maybe we can find trial versions while we transform some pdfs into Word!?  

Or substitutes as @sbadenis said.

We also have the pro version. It works great but you say it's expensive and you have to use it. On the other hand, I didn't know how to do free office...

I still use this one https://pdfcreator.fr/  It allows you to convert any document to pdf.

The answer has nothing to do with it, he wants to convert a PDF to Word and Word to PDF...

Some PDF files can also be edited by opening them in LibreOffice Draw.
