How to rate a fictitious edge in automatic?

Hello!

Today to dimension a fictitious edge of a leave I draw 2 lines. Is it possible to automatically display this edge?

Hello

Yes there is a solution

1-Take quotation tool

2-go to one of the 2 right then right click and choose (look for intersection)

3-click the second right

And the SW sets a point with the first hook of the quotation, all that remains is to place the second hook.

And if you look closely, there is also the choice of a middle  point, which is also practical.

I just tested but I don't fall on the good odds (image attached). I tried with look for intersection. 

Did I perform the operation incorrectly? Or do you have another solution?

Yes it seems that the blue rating is not parallel in my opinion when you put the point in the first hook you took in the second hook a point instead of a straight line.

There is also another solution

Press  Ctrl  without letting go,  click the 2 right ones and then click on Sketch Point.

The SW automatically places a point  at the intersection of the 2 lines.

Then all that remains is to put the dimension.
