Hello, I want to make a "shell" type sheet with rounded corners, and I can't get the unfolded one closest to reality. Here are some explanatory photos in PJ. Even if it's not feasible in solidworks, I'd like to get as close as possible to the unfolded that would be needed to "boiler" the rounded parts afterwards. Thank you for your help!
I tried by making a shell, converting it into sheet metal, and adding legs on the unfolded, but when I fold the whole thing, then the unfolded is defective.
However, if I go back in my tree above "fold" I can see my unfolded well.
It is the unfolded part that is at fault and I have a message in the "what is wrong?": "this part contains functions that cannot be unfolded".
@sbadenis, indeed, but I would like to get as close as possible to the "theoretical" unfolded, although the 4 angles will be formed by hand and not by folding, then welding and grinding. I wanted to avoid making a folded cassette with the addition of 4 "quarter spheres" for the welded corners. I wanted to be able to pull the material from the corners from my unfolded, hence my question.
