Hi all!

Hello
To find a particular machining, the easiest seems to me to be its pure and simple creation and then its saving as a library function, to be able to reuse it afterwards whenever you want (to be found in the right drop-down menu).
See link:

After that, are you looking for indications on how to create your "special" tarudage?
What is special about it? To know that everything that revolves around taps is very standardized!

Can I start from an existing tap and custom it, then add a favorite?
And where is the file that contains all the ISO drilling and tapping; INCH...?
Because if I want to find it in my drop-down menu, it has to be saved in the same folder.
Hello,
It seems to me that the drilling wizard is linked to your toolbox database.
You will need extensive knowledge to change this.
I think Riky's solution is interesting because it is easy to implement.
If you use favorites, you may end up with an endless drop-down menu.
The Favorites file is configured in the options->file locations->holes wizard favorites database (SWK)

idem Riki
Create your thread via a spiral helix and a thread sketch
create your own database (tool box) for personal configue
to avoid any conflict with SW
then you can also make a volume piece that corresponds to the imprint of your thread and its hole
that you insert to the right of your piece and via
A Boolean operation
All you have left is the tapped hole that has these clean dimensions

Hello
You need to modify your toolbox settings and you can create custom threads. See attached view.
Concernnat toolbox and its use: http://help.solidworks.com/2012/French/SolidWorks/toolbox/HIDD_TOOLBOX_SELECT_HARDWARE.htm?id=04463db270c3462ea4da9407a2f98723#Pg0
See you...
Thank you rmorel,
This is the right solution to add a tapped hole.
I haven't been able to add my tap yet because a dialog box
tells me to enter a valid value for each field.
See Screenshot attached
PS: I'll be sure to check that you've solved my pb but I'm waiting
a little to see if anyone would ever have any info on these field values.
So, it's good!
I hadn't entered any value in "SERIE" because the threads that are
in the toolbox didn't have one, but you have to enter a number
and it works.
Again meci to you and thank you to rmorel for his very relevant answer.
Glad I was able to help you...
Have a nice day.
