How do I run a macro with smartproperties?

I want to run a macro from the validation of the smartproperties after filling in the properties.

When I validate, an "Invalid argument" window opens.

What is an argument?

What do I need to fill in?

It is a problem of the system.

Go to Windows Control Panel, and repair your Solidworks installation.

A Dll must have jumped.

Hi, I think the problem is not with smart properties but with the macro, more specifically the file that the macro calls or fetches!!

If it only does this when inserting your macro, it's because it comes from her as @David said.

If it happens to you on other things, follow my first post

In the smartpropertis, with the "Run" function there is an "Argument" box.

What do we need to fill in?

FYI, the macro works with a button.

Did your macro work in the past?

Can you reach her?

Thank you =)

I hadn't understood that the smart properties were the ones in the "MyCadTools" suite.

I don't own it, so, I'll let you answer =)

All you have to do is wait for Axemble members to return from vacation

to have a coherent answer to your question

PS: what are you looking for to do with a macro

Hello

When you select your macro, it should populate the argument in the drop-down menu

If not, the argument is the module and the procedure that should be launched in the macro.

If you don't know this information, you can find it by creating a macro button in SolidWorks and copying the method (photo attached)
