How do I do a static study in SW on my assembly?

Hi all

I had already opened a question about my project :  https://www.lynkoa.com/forum/g%C3%A9n%C3%A9ralit%C3%A9s/comment-v%C3%A9rifier-ma-structure-sous-solidworks

Thanks to these precious helps, I had managed to make my mesh  and launch a first study (see pj).  This result seems absurd to me because my footbridge ends up with a broken foot  and the tray deforms strangely.

I asked my elasticity teacher but he couldn't really help me because he doesn't use Solidworks. However, he helped me to choose my imposed trips because  on my first study they were wrong but it was only in this way that SW agreed to do a study for me. If I didn't put imposed movements at the level of the set, the software refused to launch the study on me.

So I tried to do a study only on the tray to understand why the tray placed on my structure deforms like this. The study works and I can interpret the result but as soon as I want to do it on the assembly with the feet, nothing works. At the moment, SW refuses to do a study because my "distortion seems unrealistic to be true".

My teacher told me that I had to define my contacts between my pieces. I admit that I don't know how to do it with the software. I do think that a step is missing in what I do, but I admit that a study under an assembly is really complicated and I have no one to help me. How do I declare the type of connection between my components?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Hello@Meg

You can re-post your assembly with part and simulation results with the pack and go function.

I remember that I couldn't do the simulation because I had the same defects as those reported.

You have a "student version" or a Pro version.

Kind regards

Here is the file of my gateway:

I have a student version. The shipment took a little time, forgive me

Kind regards

Ben! Uh

I don't see the sending which is visible by the absence of sending.

In the meantime we send each other a cordially

EDIT: Zozo yoyotte ;-)  the shipments were made at the same time as my answers! you have to look before this post

I unintentionally chose my best answer by trying to send the file a second time.

It's a mishandling with the phone

Hello@Megane

the previous situation that the simulation does not succeed .
In any case, the few small errors in the parameters do not explain the failure for excessive travel  .

So what are the real challenges for you?

Is it for a qualifying exam or is it only a challenge as you announced in the previous topic. At the same time you talk about your teacher then????

I'm convinced that the problem comes from the student version, because I've already encountered similar PBs.

Kind regards
