How do you do a simulation correctly in an assembly?

Hello, I would like to apply loads on the profile horizontally and fix the vertical profile. I've tried several simulations, but it doesn't work.

I took kindly to help me.

Hello

Admity that your request is a bit succinct and abstruse.

If we don't know how you set up your simulation, it's impossible to help you.

On the other hand, if you post your assembly in the rules of the art then we may be able to tell you what is wrong with your simulation.

To start with, which version of SW simulation do you have? (Standard, Pro or Student)

To post your complete assembly you must imperatively do

  1.  File ===> composition to take away or (pack and go) depending on your SW version.
  2. Request a ZIP file
  3. Indicate that you want to embed the result of your simulation attempt in the ZIP file.
  4. post the attachment with the "Browse" button on the forum

Don't forget to indicate the load in Newtons and especially the size and the precise place where this load is to be applied. Specify if the load is of the type laid or if you have a suspended load (example a cable with a load at the end)

Also indicate the actual length of the vertical profile and also the nature of the base on which it rests,  specifying the type of relationship with the ground. Indicate whether the top of the vertical profile is recessed or free of all these movements in XY.
Also indicate what prevents the profile from twisting, as this can divide the applicable force by at least 6.

Please give us any other details that will be useful to make a simulation that makes sense from an industrial point of view.

ETC... etc... etc....

Kind regards
