How do I manage symmetrical parts in a catia V5-6R2012 assembly?

I have an assembly under catia V5-6R2012, in which I have parts (with multiple bodies) that are symmetrical.

I made the symmetrical part in the assembly with the symmetry function in the assembly.

My problem is that when I modify the model part (which has multiple bodies, creation of new bodies, etc.) the repercussions do not follow on the symmetry. And there is no way to restart the symmetry function to update the symmetry part.

So I am forced to remove the symmetry function and start again = > problem that follows, I had done the drawing of the symmetrical part and even by renaming it the same as the old one the links do not follow in the drawing.

Do you have solutions for these types of problems under catia?

Rmq: I'm not a catia specialist, and I prefer to work under SW.

Hello

See the following help page:

Hello

Is the Keep link option checked?

For the Plan, renaming with an identical name is useless because the 2D 3D link is on the internal name of the 3D UUID unique identifier file. Recreating the symmetry creates a new component (new file with a different identity than the first one).

EDIT:

I had read your PB too quickly: indeed when you add a new independent  body of parts (i.e. not assembled, by a Boolean operation) this new body does not appear in the symmetrical part.

To get around, in the context of assembly, we copy/paste (as a result with link) in the symmetrical part and then apply a transformation to this body
