How to Automatically Insert a Chamfer Dimension

Good evening everyone.

My question is very simple but I don't want to solve it.

In CATIA, I draw a cylinder with a chamfer on one of its ends (so an extrusion function and a chamfer function).

I make a drawing of this cylinder and I want to insert the dimension automatically from the "Dimension Generation" command .

I can automatically retrieve the diameter and height of the cylinder (generated from the extrusion function) but nothing at all for the chamfer.

I activated the forcing of the "chamfer detection" but nothing helps.

Am I condemned to quote the candles in manual.

Thank you in advance for your answers.

well there is a simple solution I guess you created your axis from a circle and you extruded it, another solution would be to create your axis with the revolution function by creating your side chamfer in the sketch, which would allow you to recover the dimension of the chamfer Kind regards Basti

Hello, same observation under CATIA V5-6R2012.
I think it's going back to the DS support.
Catia generates the dimension for the Leave functions without BP; but not for the Chamfers?
Of course you can always trace and dimension the chamfer in the sketch of the revolution or make pockets.
It's still less practical!
Personally, I use automatic quotation only once to retrieve  what interests me, and I end up by hand.
Because it is very often necessary to reposition or transfer the generated dimensions to other views and in case of modifications it  is not sure to keep the manual design.
