How to link the properties of a part to an assembly and/or a plan and then to the PDM?

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to configure the properties of each row in the table and that it does not add rows. (because the person who worked before me did some manipulations that add information see screenshot 2)

secondly, I would like to know if we can link this information from a part to the assembly and/or the plan and then to the PDM?

Thank you in advance for your answers,

Kind regards

Hello

Since you are using EPDM I have the impression that you are not taking the problem in the right direction, it is EPDM that manages the property in the form of variables via the data cards. Except for the values taken directly from the SW file such as the material for example.
Attached is an attempt to explain in pictures how the properties work in SW and EPDM, because it is true that it is not necessarily very easy to understand at first glance (and to explain it is even worse).

OK. I almost understood... can you tell me how to put data from the PDM?

Thank you

The best thing to do is to talk to your EPDM administrator.

If you don't have one, you'll need one - > training someone at your home or using a subcontractor to manage all this.

Don't have fun sticking your nose in it without training or support because you are quickly in situations that are not easy to manage.

The data must be entered into the EPDM data cards, which can be accessed via the SW interface or in the windows/EPDM explorer

On the other hand, if you need to add new lines in the data map, you have to go through the EPDM administration tool and create the input boxes via the data map editor, you also have to create the associated variables.
