How do I update the ground in the cartridge?

Hello

I want to be able to update the mass in the title block of my plan without having to perform the following steps:

open the assembly (or part) in question -> Property -> Physical -> Update

It's very tedious when the sets are heavy. If anyone has an idea to be able to make this happen, set Ilogic or whatever.

Looking forward to your ideas.

Kind regards

Look at this link can be a walkthrough?

http://pub.phyks.me/sdz/sdz/apprendre-a-dessiner-en-3d-avec-autocad.html

it's quite complete and it talks about binding blocks to insert in the cartridge in car

it's towards the end of the tutorial

Sorry I don't see the link in question.

Hello

In Application Options, General tab, you have a checkbox: update properties when saving, which allows updates to all your properties.

Hello

Thank you for your answers.

loloboyo: I do have this checkbox, for piece and set, but it implies having the set open. When the planes are switched to as-built (as-built) all the planes are opened and passed to the next index. It would take a trick for the mass to update without having to open the assembly.

gt22: I work on Inventor and not on Autocad.

I thought that there might be Ilogic rules that had been made to respond to this problem, but maybe not :p!

see this link (with this answer I'm probably closer to the walkthrough it's for inventor) ;-)

Add Subjects to Favorites

To add materials to favorites, specify information about materials, shapes, and assortments. In the shape field, you can combine entered data, selected recent values, and information inserted by cut/paste or copy/paste.

To save a material to favorites, follow the steps below :

  1. On the ribbon, click the Cartridge Drawing Sheets feature group (ESKD).  The Cartridge dialog box appears.
  2. Place the cursor in the field in the Materials section.
  3. Click on the field to activate it and add the information.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the three fields in the contents section.
  5. Click Save to add the active ingredient to your favorites. The material appears in the Materials dialog box.

Note: If the material already exists, the operation has no effect.

Edit or specify a physical property

Select the following options using the mass fields context menu:

  • Choose Manual Editing to override the physical property and mass units.
  • Choose Automatic Update to automatically update the physical property as soon as the physical properties of a component change.
  • Choose Show Units to automatically display the units in the physical property.
  • Choose Do not Show Units to not display units in the Mass field.
  • Expand the Units list to convert the value of the physical property to the units of your choice, such as grams or tons.
  • Expand the Accuracy list to change the preferred accuracy of the mass.

If you open your general assembly and save it, all the parts and assemblies should update, no need to open room by room.
