How to Model a Thread - Solid Edge ST9

Hello

In my designs, I am required to make tapped/threaded parts. On Solid Edge, there are tools to make these threads and to be able to make them appear on future definition drawings.

On most software (including Solid Edge), the thread is represented by a texture to avoid a reduction in software performance. There is often an option to force the generation of the mesh (for a 3D export for example). However, I remain without an answer to do this on Solid Edge. I've been looking for more than a month now on this tool that I've been using for a few years now... Since then I have learned a lot of things thanks to the settings but IMPOSSIBLE to get my hands on any real parameters of generating a thread. Maybe I'm looking for something non-existent...

Does anyone have the answer to this question?

Thank you in advance and, good afternoon!

Hello

This feature is only available on solidedge 2020 and 2021 under the function labeled Physical Thread in the 3D printing tab.
