How do I set the SmartProperties (myCADtools) to have a string to retrieve by removing the last two characters?
I've searched, I can't find a solution to remove characters from the end...
You tried the different options I guess.
I don't have time today to look into the question, the timing is a bit tight. The solution will be to call the support and if you have a favorable response share it.
I don't have the impression that it's possible:
Unless a particular separator is in place or string of the same number of characters.
Example1:
string-01 (the separator - allows you to identify the string without the last 2 characters.
Example 2:
0123
0124
Always the same number of characters.
Post 2 3 examples if possible to better understand.
Otherwise, it is possible to report an improvement request to Visiativ.
By clicking on the ! in the appropriate utility menu (then Enhancement Request):
For Smartproperties not found the! So I click on another utility and I change the title of the utility in the email to keep the formatting and useful information:
And it works.

FYI, in the smartproperties = property manager => click on settings =>? About => mycadtools Smartproperties window (see image below)

Thank you @Le_Bidule for the information, but the! Would have come to the top of the menu wouldn't it?
It's the only utility where it's hard to find!

" I contacted the developers who confirmed that this is not currently possible. A request for improvement has been submitted so that it can be implemented in smartproperties V2 "

Wow! It took me a while to see this one... It's indeed a problem, especially since this morning, I spread these images everywhere.
