How do you multitask at night?

Hello, I discovered the solidworks task scheduler to make my renderings with photoview. There is still a problem because if I schedule too many tasks only the first ones run.

Concretely, I planned 35 renderings last night (the 1st at 4pm then the others "start after the previous task").  Only the first 15 are completed while the others still show "planned". The last task carried out began shortly before midnight and was completed shortly after. So I think the problem comes from the change of date. Indeed, by scheduling my tasks one after the other, the planner still assigns them a date (in this case yesterday's).

The obvious solution is to schedule the 16th task at 00:30 for example and then start planning the tasks end to end again but the problem is that these tasks do not all have the same duration : impossible to know which one will cross the fateful hour of 00 hours.

Is there a suitable solution to this very annoying problem (especially for weekends)?

Thank you

Hello

This is a known bug at SolidWorks:

PhotoView 360 render task is not started when scheduled with 'Start after Previous Task' if previous task(s) occur past midnight (12:00 AM)

Hello

Thinking about it can be a bit of a boat but by launching all the tasks from 00:15 for example it would avoid having a change of date right? Unless of course it doesn't leave enough time for all your tasks to be carried out

Thank you both

Solidworks is disappointing on this one.

If you have any other tips, I'm all for it...

I see that you have the myCADservices tools, so you can use the taskplanner tool.

Thank you .PL. I don't know what makes you think I have these tools but I don't think I have them.

I just downloaded myCADtools but I am asked for codes and I don't have them. Didn't I understand something?

On your profile:

You have the myCADtools medal, so you should have the tools.

On the homepage of http://www.lynkoa.com/mycadservices you should find the tab "My codes" at the top right then "codes" in front of a myCADservices line that corresponds to your serial number SW.

Not finding the elements you were telling me about, I opened a ticket to get my codes. I was told that I do not have a myCADservices contract.

Thank you for this help but unfortunately it will not be useful to me. Shame.

Anyone have another idea? ...

I think there is no other solution than to wait for an update of this SolidWorks bug.

Otherwise, starting renders right after midnight can work!

Or put a timeout of 5 min (after which time SolidWorks aborts the current task) after the 10th render, and start the next ones after midnight.
