How do you achieve the symmetry of a sheet metal part in an assembly?

Hello, there is a tutorial for symmetries on Lynkoa.

Hello

Your question is succinct and does not allow us to help you.

Hello

Symmetry your part: from the original folded part, select the plane of symmetry you want, then Insetion/Symmetric part.

This way you get your symmetrical part. From there, create a derived configuration named "[Config-Name]SM-FLAT-PATTERN".

Go to the mirroring function, then right-click/List external references. In "Configuration Name" select "[Config-Name]SM-FLAT-PATTERN" of the original part (unfolded state). Click OK.

Your 2 parts are thus totally linked, folded and unfolded with the same folding parameters (loss at the folds, radius,...) since everything comes from one piece!

Hello

Choose the right symmetry you want, with the help of the options boxed on the "image".
